CBfreq's ICOM IC-40S and IC-41S page
My NEW FREE Program ( IC41S_GV_BETA3.ZIP ) - Beta Version 3
I need adventurous people with an IC-41S to test this. I'm hoping that the above program will allow you to program 80 extra TX/RX channels (known as private channels) into the IC-41S when used with Goran Vlaski's FREE Icom Clone software ( ICCLV100.ZIP ) from Digital Laboratory.
My program will automatically produce the data file which Goran Vlaski's FREE Icom Clone software uses to program the IC-41S. The README3.TXT file contains instructions on how to use my IC41S_GV program. The program must be run in a Windows95/98/2000/XP MS-DOS Prompt window. Please E-Mail me the results but remember to add your e-mail address to my whitelist first (see bottom of this page).
Warning: Not for new 80 Channel radios. For old 40 Channel radios only.

My OLD FREE Program ( IC40S.ZIP )
The above program will allow you to program 20 extra TX/RX channels into the IC-40S when used with Icom's EX2118 cloning software ( which normally gives you 20 extra RX-ONLY channels ).
My program will automatically produce the EX2118.ICS file which Icom's EX2118 cloning software uses to program the IC-40S. The README.TXT file contains instructions on how to use my IC40S program. The program must be run in a Windows95/98 MS-DOS Prompt window.

My HOMEMADE Cloning Cable ( IC40S.GIF )
The above schematic will allow you to make a cheap alternative to Icom's Cloning Cable ( OPC478 ).
If you can't afford to buy Icom's cable, you will need the above cable to program the IC40S or IC41S.
