TO INSTALL
                   ----------

1.) Unzip IC40S.ZIP into the directory where you have installed your
    Icom RX-ONLY software.



                   TO USE
                   ------

1.) Type: EDIT FREQ.DAT to edit the user friendly frequency table.
    Press the INSERT key to put the Editor in replace mode.
    Always use 6 dashes ( ------ ) to disable a frequency and never
    use the decimal point or the MHz when you type a frequency.
    Eg. 450.000MHz should be entered as 450000

2.) Save file and Exit the Editor.

3.) Type IC40S > EX2118.ICS

4.) Run the ICOM software and go straight to Clone: Write -> TR

5.) DONE.


                   NOTES
                   -----

1.) FREQ.NEW is a backup copy of FREQ.DAT with all frequencies
    disabled, just in case you destroy FREQ.DAT
