TO INSTALL
                   ----------

1.) Unzip IC40S_GV.ZIP into the directory where you have Unzipped
    ICCLV100.ZIP (Goran Vlaski's Free Icom Clone Program).



                   TO USE
                   ------

1.) Type: EDIT FREQ.DAT to edit the user friendly frequency table.
    Press the INSERT key to put the Editor in replace mode.
    Always use 6 dashes ( ------ ) to disable a frequency and never
    use the decimal point or the MHz when you type a frequency.
    Eg. 450.000MHz should be entered as 450000

2.) Save file and Exit the Editor.

3.) Type IC40S_GV > RADIO.DAT

4.) Run ICCLV100 and select your com port in the Setup menu. Choose
    Open in the File menu and select RADIO.DAT, then click the Upload
    Button. When uploading is complete turn your radio off and on.

5.) DONE.


                   NOTES
                   -----

1.) FREQ.NEW is a backup copy of FREQ.DAT with all frequencies
    disabled, just in case you destroy FREQ.DAT
